ABSTRACT

This methodological note describes the origin and initial development of the Community of Practice evaluation questionnaire (CoPeval). Four steps are described: Purpose, construct and main concepts; Origin, i.e., sources from which it was derived; Initial development; Relevance and clarity of items (cognitive debriefing).
